Take Shelter Movie, Curtis lives with his wife Samantha LaForche and their six year old, deaf daughter Hannah live modestly in a small town in Ohio. Curtis is the CEO of a sand pit, Samantha is a housewife and sometimes even sewn clothes sold at the weekly flea market. The money is scarce and the young family, the special medical care and schooling of daughter Hannah asks the parents also.
Despite everything, they are a happy family and love each other very much. But then Curtis is increasingly plagued by terrifying dreams about a devastating, apocalyptic storm. He suffers greatly from this exposure, but decides to keep this for himself and throws herself obsessively into the construction of a shelter for his family.
His seemingly inexplicable behavior alarmed and confused not only Samantha, but also met with incomprehension by his colleagues and neighbors. But the strain on his marriage and the tensions it causes to him by his environment, he takes into account, as his fear of what might really mean his dreams, is far greater. Faced with the prospect that his disturbing visions could be a sign of a possible disaster, he confides in Samantha finally makes it and their love to the test.
